Workplace Adjustment Doctoral Research

Doctoral research by Dr Rana Sinha at the University of Leicester, UK (2019) reveals that:

  • Biethnic adults in Finland adjust to the workplace more through their own proactivity than as a result of their organisation's onboarding efforts.

Findings also eveal that
  • home upbringing significantly affects workplace adjustment
  • four biethnic identity types are operational and
  • non-Western identity concepts (e.g., Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Korean) differ from Western identity concepts prevalent in academic literature.
